The East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District (EMSWCD) is a unit of local government that works east of the Willamette River in Multnomah County. We are led by an elected board of five directors. We work with residents, landowners, and land managers on a voluntary basis to help people care for land and water. All of our work is geared toward keeping lands and waters healthy and sustaining farms, forests, wildlife and communities.

We are continuing to work out of our St. Johns location due to staffing limitations and keeping the Williams location closed. At this time our lobbies are closed to the public and open for appointments only (at this point it is quite rare as so much can be done over our app or through an ATM). We have 9 locations in WA that are servicing members through our drive ups.

I have pivoted to live Zoom classes, programing available to all members that they can do on their own at home and renting out my gym equipment. Anyone can sign up for the online programming and classes for $85 or pay what they can. People can sign up on the website or email me directly with questions.
